US was the most shocking movie I have seen this year. It is original, gorey, full of twists, and dare I say Hitchcockian in every way. The movie centers around a family vacationing in the Santa Cruz area, this location has cinema significance as it was the place that the Lost Boys was set. In a true thriller this movie has everything, a family with a past, government conspiracy, supernatural intervention, and an unlikely hero/villian. Not to mention a strange significance to the numbers 11/11. I wish I could tell you more but even what I have said has given too much away.
