Brighton Music Hall: Venue Review

In the small borough that is Allston there is a place that is a pivottable part of Boston's Culture. This venue has played some of the best and greatest and continue to be true to the Metal, Industrial, Rock scene. Fully stocked not one, not two, but three fully stocked bars with plenty of local brews on tap. The designated merch area is big enough for decent sized lines without feeling crowded yet intimate enough so you can interact with the band members and roadies to get what you need and want. In the back there is an area to play pool, with two pool tables, and the cleanest bathrooms I have seen in a venue around. The acoustics are great as well as there is very little distortion between the left and right pillars and the music is almost as loud in the back as well as in the front row. Lastly they are very concerned about their concert goers as they provide free iced tap water to anyone. Besides the lack of parking which is the scourge of Boston, the only thing I did not like about the venue was the no Moshing Rule it seems like if you are going to have hardcore and rocking bands you should let the fans mosh. That's just me, but all and all this venue won't disappoint and well worth the navigation of the Massholes.
