So here it is our first Venue Review, and we are going to try to be as un-bias and objective as possible based on what the KRAVE street team and myself are saying. So our first review is of the Fete Music Hall which I have been there many times and so has probably many of you. So on the inside it is setup to almost perfect. There is plenty of alcohol of all shelves and plenty of walking space, they allow local Rhode Island vendors as well as merch tables at every promotion and show. They have a lounge room, a main stage, and the Shelter Arcade Bar and Kitchenette all one site with multiple designated smoking areas. Bathrooms were responsibly clean and in working order. Security was loose and relaxed but assertive when it was needed. Their is multiple atms on site for easy cash access, not to mention skee ball and pinball machines. Like a throwback to the underground clubs in movies like Hackers and Ninja-Turtles it is far out. However, the disadvantage I have found is adequate parking (which most venues are going to have anyway especially in Providence), The most disappointing part of Fete is it's management and organization especially when it comes to local bands. On three separate occasions I have seen technical issues or timing issues drive good local bands from finishing complete sets. However whether it is a Foam Party Rave or Dope/Ill Nino Concert 8 out 10 times it will be a good show.
